Lia Miller
Athletic director and cross country coach Jay Getty has coached teams for the past 35 years at both Oviedo and Hagerty. However, this school year will be his last, as he plans to retire in 2026.

Athletic director coach Jay Getty has enjoyed a success-filled season in his last season as cross country coach. Both the boys and girls teams won districts, placed in the top four in regionals and are heading to the state championships.

Lia Miller is a senior and the BluePrint editor-in-chief. She joined the newspaper staff as a sophomore, and hopes to pursue a career in film production. In 2026, she was named the Student Journalist of the Year by the Florida Scholastic Press Association. She volunteers as a crew member for the Florida Aviation Network, and spends her (very limited) free time at the library. Next year, she will attend Florida State University.
