Melissa is a senior at Hagerty and this is her third year on staff. She is the Assistant/Managing Editor of the staff. Melissa prefers writing feature stories on what’s going on in the life of Hagerty. She has attended the Florida Scholastic Press Association fall conference three times and the spring conference twice. She has received several awards for her writing. Melissa has also been published by FaithND, the blog site at the University of Notre Dame. Her hobbies include playing soccer, running and watching movies.
