The official signing day for each sport varies, with football having theirs in February and April, and most other sports having theirs in April and August. This signing day is a chance for the school to recognize the athletes who are playing sports in college.

After the students signed, donuts and coffee were provided to them as a reward, and they took some time to take pictures.

Senior Maria Puccio-Ball signed with Flagler College, located in St. Augustine, for cross country and track. She found out about the college when they contacted her with a letter, stating that her running times are in the range for athletes they are looking for. She pursued with the required questionnaire, and will now be attending the college in the fall.

“I didn’t want to go through college without running,” Ball said. “It makes me feel more complete.”
