Keeping Up With the Clubs: French Honors Society
The French Honors Society held a road clean up project on Saturday, Sept. 24 on Brumley Road in Chuluota. About 15-20 club members showed up to help out that morning. Students divided themselves into groups so they could split up on opposite sides of the road. Together, the group collected six full bags of trash.
Because every honors society needs service hours, the road clean up was a way for members to get their hours together. The French Honors Society adopted Brumley Road and goes to clean it up twice a semester.
The next meeting for French Honors Society will be Oct. 17 after school in Pam Lynch’s room, 7-224. President Caitlyn Hale said the group will be discussing French picnic dates, Epcot information, and the next road clean up date.
