Keeping Up With the Clubs: Culinary Club
Culinary club held its first meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 25. Over 50 students showed up to the club’s meeting, taking up both culinary classrooms. A mix of students who are enrolled in the class and who have never taken culinary showed up to the meeting. Annabella Musumeci, vice president Alexa Sommerfield and treasurer Jenna Hoffman spoke to the new club members about upcoming events, including next meeting dates.
Students split into groups to bake chocolate chip cookies. Each group kept four cookies to cater for Open House that happened the same night.
Each meeting will alternate between baking and cooking. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 2:30-4 in room 6-111. The group will be cooking pasta. There is no fee to join Culinary Club.
