Elleigh Ackerman, Features Editor

Elleigh Ackerman is a senior at Hagerty High School. She started to show interest in literature at a young age and with the encouragement of her mother, Ackerman began her interest in journalism her freshman year. Ackerman is planning on majoring in English and teaching at a college level, becoming a screenplay writer, author or working as a journalist. Regardless, she will continue her passion for writing after graduation. Apart from writing, Ackerman found an unexpected passion. After her first powderpuff game as a junior, her interest in flag football flourished. Ackerman officially joined the girl’s flag football team and won the title of “Defensive Back of the Year.”
