Paul Simone is a junior and is in his first year on the newspaper staff. He has a passion for helping his fellow students, acting as president-elect of the ASL Honor Society, vice president of Hagerty Young Democrats, and treasurer of the Jewish Student Union. He also enjoys writing about topics that impact students’ daily lives. After high school, Simone plans to go to UNF where he will study to become a teacher for the deaf.
Kayla is a junior and this is her first year on staff. She likes to draw and has her own nail tech business called Kayla’s Klaws. Last year she did Bright Minds, a paid internship program where she presented a business plan to a panel, solving an issue in society. When she gets older, Kayla aspires for a career in politics.
