On Saturday, Feb. 17, the Providing Autism Links and Support club will host their eighth annual Hearts for Autism walk at the Sam Momary Stadium from 9 a.m. to noon.

The cost is $5 before Saturday and $7 at the event. The money raised will help fund programs in Seminole County Schools that benefit people on the autism spectrum. Tickets and donations can be made at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/hearts-for-autism-walk-2018-tickets-38725194098

“This allows money for those classes to ask for items that they normally couldn’t get like a crash pad, iPad and things that students need to be more successful,” sponsor Brit Taylor said.

At the walk, there will be many activities that are fun for the entire family. Face painting, a bounce house, painting a police car and a helicopter landing are all included in the cost of a ticket. Raffle tickets will also be sold for prizes like SeaWorld and Aquatica tickets, Target gift card and many more.

For an additional dollar, anyone can pie a participating teacher, including: Lynn Webb, Brit Taylor, Krista Darling, Matthew Thompson, Jenna Vanek, Aglaia Christodoulides and Kim Barlowe-Hackamn.
