Volunteering off-campus, junior Dylan Fitzpatrick along with senior Carson George assisted a disabled senior citizen after the storm by bringing him supplies such as water, food, ice. After the hurricane, his property had fallen trees and branches as well as downed power lines. This encouraged Fitzpatrick and George to help clean up the damage by cutting up the trees into logs and moving them away from the property.

“I was aware, even before the storm, of the devastating potential this hurricane had on the community and wanted to make a difference,” Fitzpatrick said.
