Juniors Gatienne Jourdenais andWelch Campbell traveled to Isles of Palms to witness the total solar eclipse for four hours. Campbell decided to go to South Carolina since it was one of the places in the eclipse’s path where the event was going to reach full totality.
“We got a clear view of the halo when the moon fully covered the sun, it was really cool,” Campbell said.
