Dominic Diatzikis, 10 – Isles of Palms

Sophomore Dominic Diatzikis traveled to Charleston, SC to view the solar eclipse. Diatzkis visited Isles of Palms beach with his parents, arriving Sunday night and leaving Monday after the eclipse. Diatzikis saw the eclipse in full totality and during the peak he viewed bright, clear flashes of a near thunderstorm, giving him the experience of a lifetime.

“Describing it and seeing pictures of it doesn’t do its justice. You have to to experience it to really know what it was like,” Diatzikis said.
