Senior exit survey crucial for graduation
Calling all seniors: If you do not complete the senior exit survey by May 14, you cannot walk at graduation.
The senior exit survey asks questions about what colleges seniors plan to attend and whether or not they received a scholarship. The scholarship questions were just added in this year.
“That [scholarship information] was a big deal last year,” assistant principal Jesse Walker said. “We needed to know that information and there was no system to collect any of it.”
The survey was issued through seniors’ blended government and economics classes where 400 out of 539 students completed it. From there, Walker emailed parents and students as well as sent out notices to seniors’ third and fourth period teachers.
As of this Tuesday all but 30 seniors have taken the survey. Walker will receive an updated amount next week. The survey only takes five minutes to complete.
