Festive hallway

  • Christmas lights 
  • Ornaments 
  • Thumb tacks

Start off by hanging the lights above the door.

Then, hang the lights in a diagonal way, going across the hallway. Let the lights dangle a little bit so the ornaments can hang on the lights. String the lights from one corner to the other horizontally.

Run the lights from the corner to the corner where the lights started, vertically.

FAILED IT The thumb tacks did not hold the lights well so every time an ornament was added, it fell off. Something more sturdy to hold the lights up would have made this project more of a success. The lights looked like when Joyce hung Christmas lights in her house in “Stranger Things.” I think it would have looked better if we used white lights.
