Venom: another great addition to the MCU
Few Marvel productions have disappointed viewers, and the Oct. 1 release of “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” keeps that streak alive. Released in theaters Oct. 1, “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” was anything but a let down. The movie follows Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) as he struggles with carrying Venom, an alien parasite. However, as the storyline continues, serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) becomes his biggest problem.
Despite the incredible number of events in the movie, it flowed together beautifully, leaving nothing feeling out of place or random. Viewers are scared to look away for even a moment because they might miss something great.
For being an action and Marvel movie, there were a handful comedic moments including Venom’s sarcastic comments which just added to the film’s charisma.
Along with a fantastic storyline, the actors made the movie. Harrelson played a maniacal killer extremely well, not an easy role to master. The only flaw was that Shriek (Naomie Harris) could have played a stronger role and been a more prominent character.
Since “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” had a lot of CGI and special effects throughout, there is a lot of things that could go wrong. However, the cinematography was done well and nothing seemed forced.
There should be no argument that “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is a fantastic movie. Even if action movies are not your thing, still give this film a watch, it is definitely worth it.
