Baseball – Austin Jacobs

- Batting Gloves – some hitters choose to use them for grip, but they are not necessary for the game. “Just in case one rips, I can have a second one for the game so I’m prepared.”
- Baseball – to have an extra is a good idea in case there are none for warmups
- Helmet – to protect a batter’s head when up to bat
- Bats – some players choose to carry multiple in case one breaks, someone needs an extra, or when hitting off of a pitching machine so they do not damage their good bat
- Cleats – for grip on the field
- Elbow guard – some players wear different guards when up to bat for reasons including like previous injuries and being hit by pitches
*Crackers (not pictured) – “I always have crackers. I’ve never gone to a game without crackers in my bag. I guess it’s sort of a superstition that I’ve always just done it. It just feels left out if I don’t.”
