Frank’s Red Hot

Red Hot sauce was invented by Cincinnati resident Jacob Frank at his tea and spice warehouse in 1896. It is made by mixing spices, vinegar, garlic, and cayenne pepper then aging the mixture. Frank’s Red Hot is a traditional hot sauce that provides an equal amount of heat and flavor. Anyone starting out on their hot sauce journey could easily adapt to Red Hot and incorporate it into a lot of different meals, but consistent hot sauce users know this sauce is far from outstanding. The peppery aftertaste of Frank’s Red Hot is not enjoyable. With a combination of Cayenne peppers and garlic powder, this sauce will taint both your palate and your breath.
