Just an extra smile
Given recent events, communities around the world have seen both the best and the worst of humanity spring forward in response to COVID-19.
Donna Frawley, a paraprofessional at Hagerty made an impact when she went above and beyond the call of duty to deliver a laptop to an anonymous student in Sanford who had previously been doing all their schoolwork on her cellphone.
Although she was incredibly appreciative of the recognition she received from Principal Frasca and her coworkers, Frawley insists that “no praise was necessary.”
“I was only doing what any staff member would have done in the situation,” Frawley said. “Everyone at HHS is working together as a team to make whatever adjustments need to be made to help the students in this unprecedented time.”
